Hey there! I’m Kelsey Nolan, and I’m a watercolor illustrator living in and inspired by the charming mountain city of Roanoke, Virginia.
My work focuses on the little moments and objects that quietly enrich our lives. Berries. A favorite mug. The chubby squirrel that always attacks the bird feeder in the backyard. I believe in pausing to celebrate these small ways that we feed our bodies and hearts.
When I’m not painting pigeons and cheeseburgers, I’m usually hanging out at home raising my four-year-old daughter, exploring my neighborhood, drinking tea, or playing Red Dead Redemption 2 with my husband. I love Indian food, vintage dishes, handmade soaps, historical romance novels, Bob’s Burgers, and making lists. I’m not a fan of pears, false modesty, or washing silverware.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work. You can find my daily art posts and musings on Instagram.
